| Shampoo What seems to be the best shampoo for these little guys. My other Yorkie seemed to itch no matter what I used. Even the $12 a bottle from the vet! I don't mind paying for a good shampoo. Jenni |

| I use Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo for their faces and Pantene human shampoo for their body. They seem fine, no itching. I am going to try to CC products because everyone seems to support them. |

| I have a question......................... I bought tearless puppy shampoo, but I don't like the smell and Princess gets stinky again the next day. Now I wash her body with Garnier Fructis and her face with her puppy shampoo. Does it matter that I'm washing her coat with human shampoo? She doesn't seem to itch or scratch. She is only 3 months old so I don't want to mess up her coat or anything. Any suggestions?? thanks everyone

| I would not use human shampee it has the wrong ph and can be damaging to their hair in the long term.

| There are lots of good products but I like "Coat Handler" it's very gentle it's super for a silk coat and it was made espically for the Yorkshire Terrier. Lots of catalogs offer it but I go to JB Wholesale Pet Supplies because there is no minimum order. You can get a 12 oz shampoo (???or 14??) and a 24 oz. conditioner for $16 and that includes shipping. I suppose shipping depending where you are will change it a bit. They have a website.

| I gotta put a plug in for the Chris Christenson systems, too. I do still use J & J baby on their faces, but the CC systems is just the best for their coat. Brushing out is soooooo much easier and nicer for my dogs since I started using the CC system. It smells like a pina colada, and makes their coat shine. In between baths, use ice on ice when you brush-wonderful! Pippa actually enjoys her brushing now! I got the little package deal with day to day, foaming protein, after bath, and ice on ice for about $10.00 and it's lasting a long time for 2 dogs and baths about once a week.
