I sent him home in the best condition I could, in the hope of him getting better care than I could offer, to his breeder who had more resources at her disposal. I appreciate your kind words, but the truth is you never know how you will deal with a situation like that until it happens to you. I shared my story because I have never heard of this happening to anyone else, and it was a total shock. I will never forget him! His breeder was heartbroken as well. Whenever I see a breeder advertising shipping I shudder. |
Is it possible to fly and pick your baby up and then carry them back? Its what I'm planning to do in a couple weeks, as I would hate for something to happen, "shipping" them alone. |

My puppy London was flown to me from Oklahoma and I live in Maryland. I got him from a breeder I found on puppyfind.com. I decided to go with that breeder because it was much cheaper then the breeders that were close by. At first I was a little hesitant since I had never seen him in person and wouldnt be sure what his personality was like. But once he arrived it was love at first sight. The only problem was that I had to sit at the airport for two hours waiting on him because his plane was delayed.:) |
flying.... Oh I can only imagine how heart broken you and your breeder were, this is truly a heart breaking story. I am sure you did what you felt was best for the puppy. what was meant was, seeing how sick he was, it would of been hard to put him back on a plane...that's all. I can't imagine how painful that was for you. My thoughts are with you, wishing you the best to find a new puppy to love, and close to your home. Happier times are ahead for you!! big hug, Ree |
