| Woof, Woof from Cashi  He gets a bath once a week. He is still a wee baby and gets into most things. He also has a wee wee problem and dribbles on him self at times. I believe it is his confusion on wether to lift his leg or squat, He is sort in between... Welcome

|  ........you will learn SO much here about your little yorkie!!!I give my little guy a bath every week to week and a half (I wait til we get a warm day)...and he gets groomed about every 5 weeks. Start getting your pup used to getting a bath early on in his life and hopefully he will learn to tolerate it. My pup still hates them but he gets them anyway and smells so good afterwards.

| Welcome to YT, You will love it here.. any pics ??? I bath Snickers since i got him in january .. only 4 times i think ... so maybe once a month or so.. but now he got groomed and his hair is much shorter so he wont get so dirty anymore. Good luck and cant wait to see pics ! |

| Just joined Hi This is my first post so still navigating the site Thought I would introduce myself Born in Hudderfied and lived in a small mill town called Stainland. Always had dogs and in Yorkshire and the IOW we had yorkies and German shepherds However my work took me all over the globe so it was not fair to have a dog you could not care for. I now live in Thailand and they do have yorkies here but conditions are totally different to the UK. Average day temperature is 30C so I am not sure how happy they would be Who knows though. I may yet find a breeder who will give me one or three. People here tend to have many dogs but one of the dangers is to keep them isolated from the strays and other wild animals Site is good reading from what I have seen so far Last edited by Richard; 01-12-2010 at 04:27 AM. Iatyw, I bathe every two weeks, in the summer, because we're out and about so much...However, it has been an unbelievably cold winter in Texas (record breaking, in fact), so I'm stretching it to 3 or 4 weeks...I've read, more than once, it's not good to bathe them more than every two weeks, because it drys their skin out, and they develop itches and the like...All the best to you, and, once again, welcome...   |
