Just logged on to see if there was an update...Thank goodness she did ok!! I have been thinking about her all afternoon! It makes me much more confident about spaying Pixie when seeing another little one pull through ok...I'm going to see my vet really soon..;)

Is she home?? Hope things are going well. I am sure she will just want to be cuddled this evening........ and hopefully you will be able to keep her from being too active for a few days! (sometimes it is sooooooo hard to do...... I know it was with Shelby after her spay.. especially the "jumping" part! :eek: )

Sarah...Hope all is well...How is London?

Thank you guys for thinking about her and being here with me while i go thru this. We just got home, poor baby seems out of it. She is groggy and very sleepy it seems. She has adorable bandages with hearts on her back paws where the dewclaws were, i dont want to move her too much so i haven't checked her teeth yet or any of that, she has a small scar. Right now she is with my bf on the bed, i have a little concern. Teddy is very excited to see her but too excited, like when she was in heat. Is this normal behavior since he is not neutered? Does it have something to do with the spay? I had to put him in another room cause he is too excited around her and i want her to rest. She does have that plastic thing around her neck, i feel sooo bad. I want to take it off and I had to go to babys'r us to get preemie onesies, which are still too big but they didn't have micro preemie and that's the only place that carries preemie size, except online but that will take forever to get here, so i bought a few, very cute! I am going to post pics in a few, she looks so sad:( She will be sitting in her stroller for the next couple of days cause she cannot walk. The doc said they tried to feed her but she didn't want to eat, and i have medicine to give her tommorrow. Hopefully she feels better

She'll be ok!! Just keep her quiet. Ella Bean was spayed one week ago and she is back to her old self! The first two days, it seemed like she was sore and she looked really sad. But then I had to hold her constantly so she didn't hop around and open her stitches!

I am sure London will heal so well since she has her mommy taking care of her!

Here is my baby girl. I took off the plastic thing, it looked so uncomfortable! The onesie actually fits really good, she didnt want her food but she ate some bread which is good. My bf made it really soft by putting some water on it. :thumbup:

I am sooo happy everything went well with the baby girl!!! I was gonna stop by to check in during lunch but got sooo busy and didn't even get to go for lunch. I am gonna have to schedule an appt for Tsubi in about a month or so too. I have been through it twice but still scares me.

Evie's doing much better today.. she was still out of it this morning before I left for work.. and when I called to check up on herJakub told me she threw up..
But when I came home she was all excited and licking me all over.. I had to lay down on the bed so she wouldn't hurt herself..

I'm sure London will start acting normal tomorrow

Im so happy everything came out great! Poor baby give her lots of kisses from Gizmo... he needs to get neutered he is going to be 3yrs old this year and I CANNOT bring myself to do it... he is a only furkid so thats my excuse but I know its better for him.. he needs to get his teeth cleaned but I am soooooooooo scared to have him under for that long.....

You are going to be shocked at the difference in how she feels by the end of tomorrow. She will already seem better. Make sure you don't overdo painkillers. A little discomfort is good so she knows her limits. :aimeeyork

I'm so glad she came through it all fine, Hows she seem now? is she eating & drinking at all? Gives me a little more confidence in getting My Pixie spayed, she's just under 3lbs last time i weighed her.

Pumpkin got spayed Wednesday. When we got home, she had a moment of excitement where she jumped from my wife's lap to mine in the car because she knew we were home! After that, it was a day of sitting and sleeping. However, by Thursday morning, she was doing so much better (that night's sleep really made a difference). Now Friday morning, you wouldn't even know anything happened. She is prancing around although she's still a little fickle about eating. We got her some soft food since she had some teeth pulled and we took her bandages off her back legs because we had her back dewclaws removed.
I was shocked at how quick she recovered and I don't think anyone should worry about having your furbaby spayed. Just make sure you like/trust the vet. That right there made me totally at ease with the whole thing.
