Snorkie I have a Snorkie I rescued from Katrina. She is bigger than a Yorkie but has a courser coat like a Schnauzer. She has the cutest face and is very smart. The only thing we are trying to overcome is seperation anxiety. She was lactating which meant she was still feeding babies, but they weren't found. The SPCA really had no background other than she was about 2 years old then.I don't know what I would do wiyhout her.

| There's a schnauzer/yorkie mix on Petfinder.com that I saw recently. Pretty cute - but kind of awkward looking!

We have a schnauser yorkie mix, she is about 3 years old now. She started out looking like a yorkie pup then her hair color changed to a silver gray, shes beautiful. Very mild tempered and loves people.

Schnauzer/Yorkie Mix I have a snorkie and have had a lot of requests as to where to find one. It is when a miniature schnauzer and a yorkie are mixed. There is the chance of the babies looking like a yorkie with their coloration or looking like the miniature schnauzer. Don't get me wrong I love my yorkies and always have but after getting a snorkie I was amazed at their intelligence. They pick up quickly and they are so sweet. One advantage is they are not as "barky" as a yorkie second advantage is they are more of a family pet they don't generate to one person in the family. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't recognized as a breed by the kennel clubs once the coloration standards are made. They often or should be smaller than a miniature schnauzer.

schnauzer yorkie I have a schnauzer yorkie mix. He is the best dog ever. He is so loving and loves kids and people, a real family pet. I can honestly say I will never get another breed of dog. I cant say enough great things about the breed. If you end up with pups I am certain they will sell fast. Also they are soooooo aborable. Hope this helps

I've had people ask if Magnus had some schnauzer in him. It's mostly b/c his muzzle is bit longer than a typical yorkie. I might one day do a dna test on him to find out exactly what he is. We were "told" he was 100% yorkie but even not taking his size into consideration, he seems mixed. BUT! I've had people tell me their yorkie looks exactly like him and they were 100% sure so... *shrug*
