| I did the unthinkable today ..... ... I had to shave Mayas Coat today...... it was sooo badly tangled ... she bit me and my daughter pretty bad in the hand ...... and since I could not find a Groomer here ... we (Hubby and I) shaved her .... She looks horrible ... she does not look like my sweet Maya ... urg ..... I had to do it .... she had a really long coat - touching the ground ... and now it is half size .... she rolled all over the newly cut grass ..... it was bad .... She hates me now ... she has been hiding in her house and growls at me when I walk by ... what should I do ????

| Poor Maya!!! I'd give her time to cool off! I'm sure she'll come round! If all else fails Bribery usually works! Whats her fav thing in the whole world? Maybe a run in the park would take her mind of it! Good luck!!! There's nothing like a woman scorned!!!

my girls LOVE getting their haircuts but I have to wonder why she bit your daughter - did she get nicked maybe ?? that isn't really normal for a yorkie getting a haircut I bet in a day or so she'll realize how much cooler she is and adjust - but I'd watch that biting | |

| My Rosie has just the opposite reaction. She's so happy. Runs around like years have been taken off of her. Sorry Maya is acting unhappy. But it is so interesting the way these little Yorkies' feelings come out. They most certainly let you know how they are feeling.
