| When I got Baby they said she'd be around 4lbs. I really didn't care, but when I brought her to the vet, at around 3 months, he said she'd be more like 8lbs. Well, she's about that now (if not more). She gained weight after being spayed. Anyhoo, if you bring your furbaby to the vet, he/she might be able to give you the best estimate. But, no matter what size, I know you will love your baby! I know you got "tricked" with the whole 'gotta pay more for a T-cup,' but, now you know for next time when you get this furbaby another Yorkie playmate!

| Niko is now 1yr and 5monts. I weighed him today and he is exactly 6lbs. He seems so tiny. I could not imagine a full grown that is half his size. Although he has a very big dog attitude, he is very fragile. My vet told me he would mature to 4 1/2 pounds. He is bigger, however, I give him many treats. Initially I think I was so concerned about size that i didn't want to overfeed. Now I still don't overfeed but I am less cautious about weight gain and allow him to experiment with many foods. I've found out, he likes everything but pretzels. : |

| yorkies are full grown adults at 6 months as its around that time they have a season, the small dogs reach adult hood quicker than large dogs as they are not adult till around 18 months.

| Debbie was 1.7 pounds at her first vet visit at 12 weeks. When spayed at 7 months she was 2.7 pounds and remained 2.9 for a couple of years. Last fall she was 3.4 pounds. I guess she likes that Biljac a lot. We've switched to the low fat variety cause I don't want her getting porkie. Those little legs couldn't support that extra weight. I laugh when I hear some talk about their fragile dogs. I don't think of Debbie that way at all. She's four years old and been under three times and will be every year to have her teeth cleaned. Knock wood but we have a great vet who realizes she's a little girl and treats her well. |

| maybe you could contact your breeder and ask for some kind of a refund since you didn't get what you paid for. I know breeders can't guarantee size-- but if they charge an outrageous price then they should refund some $ just my opinion don't everyone jump me, I breed too but don't guarantee size and don't charge mega bucks. |
