| New to the forum.. I need help with my yorkie! Hello Everyone! Im so excited there is a forum for yorkies..I have a 1 year old female yorkie, Nina. She just got over being in heat and I noticed her breast are becoming hard and big. She gained a pound, which is suspicious. I thought they got bigger bc she just finished being in heat. I am worried bc I have a chihuahua that might of gotten her a few times without me noticing. This is my first time with a female yorkie and Im worried. She did get some blood work, but the vet never mentioned anything about her being pregnant. Is there anything I should know? Thanks Last edited by NinaMarie; 05-22-2008 at 07:35 PM. |

| Bella had her first heat around 10 months. Her breast got huge I was so worried. I knew though that she had not had exposure to a male. It was a while before they went down. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Hi, welcome to YT, I hope this is a false alarm, but you should get both animals fixed as soon as possible.

| to YT... Perhaps you should go with your gut feeling and take her back to the vet just in case and advise him/her of what might've occurred... Good Luck!! Last edited by nygee; 05-22-2008 at 08:14 PM. |

| Sometimes dogs go into false pregnancy, just like humans do. They show all signs of being pregnant when they really aren't! Hopefully this is the case. My Chi has had a false pregnancy before & it's really scary! Like everyone else has said, I would definitely take her to the vet for a checkup. -Amy
