Donating YT 10K Club Member | Reggie has a top knot...well we're working on it. He has bows embellished with "boy" things...although a lot of times his hair is just up in a band.

| I tried putting bands and barettes in Hot Rod's hair and they lasted about 2 seconds. So I had all his hair cut short last grooming. Now I am going to start all over and keep at putting a barette of some sort til he gets used to it while his hair is growing.

| My husband says he will get rid of my girls (Libby and Lucy) if I put Scooter's hair up in a barrett or bow...he says it's embarrassing! LOL! I tried to talk him into letting me give Scoot a mohawk, but he's not having any of that either!!! All the hair stuff I've seen for sale looks pretty girly, except for the bands. For now I'm just keeping his hair short to keep it out of his eyes. I've been trimming it myself because of a bad experience with a groomer... What have you been doing so far with his hair? |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Thanks...I think so. If you want a nice topknot...do not cut their hair at the bridge of their nose. Use gel to keep it out of their eyes and for the little wispys that manage to get out of the band. I'd also suggest putting it up frequently so they are used to having one and leave it alone. Reggie waits patiently for me to put up his hair. My biggest problem with using bows...is brother Reese says...you gots sumfing on your head, Weg, let me git it for you.

This link show you how to put a bow in with two bands so that it stays in place. Casual Way to Put Dog Bows In This link shows some small clips that you can buy anywhere that work well on non-bow days. I still use the bands with them, and they never come out. Micro Mini Claw Clips from Goody

| My husband & 3 sons have forbid me to put bows in Gizmo's hair so since I didn't want to cut it we compromised by getting different BOY color mini bands - he has light blue, dark blue, red, orange, bright yellow & dark purple. I think he is a doll with his hair up.

| I use a band in Gleason's hair. If I put a bow in it the others immediately get it out but they leave the bands alone and I think they are cute in a boys hair. |

| My husband and kids do not like when I put a band in Garrett's hair either , but his hair keeps getting in his eyes. I trim his nose bridge, but don't wanna trim any more. I don't use bows, just the small Goody "no tangle" bands from Walgreens. He's gotten it out a couple of times, but I just keep putting it back in. The first couple of times I did it, the kids would laugh at him, he would hang his head looking embarassed....too cute . He's getting used to it now though. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...Picture094.jpg
