| Well I have no excuse for my behaviour... As we have had yorkies for years knew all about good /bad breeders etc how best to get one etc. We still bought on impulse!! I had inquired about a puppy weeks before and had heard nothing and then out of the blue got a phone call about the puppy ,they had been on holiday and where just catching up. They lived right up the road and I could come see them tonight. I was just back from a weekend away and went right up was adament that I wanted a girl but then out came Alfie and all was lost, we took him home that night and the rest is history....

| I have been talking back and forth with a hobby breeder for a few weeks now. Is she following ytca rules? No, not a lot of them. Does she have a clean home? Yes. Are the mom and Dad on site. Yes. Are they Akc registered, vaccinated, vet checked? Yes. Are they cute?YES. So if I follow the advice of many of the books and breeders on here. I should not be buying from her because she does not health screen, or offer a 1 year health guarantee or is considered to be a reputable breeder. But when I looked held that lil girl in my arms, my heart melted. Am I taking a risk? yes probably. But isn't that what life is about. Her ears might be a little bigger then most, and she will most likely be silver but she exists. Better that she ends up in a home where the owner has done their homework and will provide for her in the best possible manner. Still thinking about her..she will be 15 weeks next week. |
