Anyone else worry about your Yorkie's safety when on walks?

Unfortunately I'm not very good at the intimidation of other dogs, so I think a spray will work better for me. I still walk my dog, and take him outside to play. This thread was not about me not wanting to walk my dog out of fear. It was just a vent about how many irresponsible dog owners there are out ther and how annoying it is to deal with when trying to protect such a small dog.

I haven't had that problem, the dogs we run into are usually well trained, or on a strong leash. Sorry to hear you had to experience that.

We've been attacked by the neighbor's pitbull and threatened by another neighbor...we don't walk anymore....I've also seen many used syringes on the side of the road near our house...


We have a fence at my house and we all stay in it....dogs are never allowed outside by themselves, even in the fence.....there have been dogs stolen from our neighborhood....
