| I give my babies milk but as stated already that you have to watch as sometimes they can be lactose intolerant. My first Yorkie Charlie was lactose intolerant and vomitted everytime he drank milk. You can get kitty milk that's made by whiskers and felix and he used to enjoy that and it didn't make him vomit either. Also Millie likes cool tea and I make her some every now and then but she likes it with sugar and I don't like to put it in her tea. She also likes fruit juices but I don't give that to her she usually just has a little bit from me from time to time as I don't know if it's good for them.

| I know it seems like it would be boring for the dogs to drink only the same thing every day, but it truly is all they need. Water is vital. We just have such a variety that we can't imagine only drinking water. But if you were to only drink one thing, water is the only one you need. Watch what you give them and make sure YOU don't make water boring for them. They have done studies, and no animal needs milk after being weened from their mother....not even cats. Everything you give them to eat or drink (if not water) throws off the balance of their dog food. sorry if I sound like a sourpuss on this subject. Oh, just so you know, I am typing this in a very nice tone of voice (LOL). |

| You can try Rice milk, or Lactose free milk. My daughter bought my yorkie frozen paws ice cream once and she loved it, I know its not a drink, but its a treat!!

I agree. I don't give either of my dogs anything but water (after that nasty milk incident) | |

| Gee, I wish I had a pool. Or even a hot tub. We have an area for one but nothing in it. Sigh. OK. When I first got Pirogue I let him drink soda pop out of my cup. Well.... he snuck into it first. LOL He's the only one who likes it. Now about ALL I drink is iced tea. They don't like it but love to drink the sweat off the glass or paper cup. They do love the ice in their water but they catch it and bring it into the living room and eat it on the couches. Little brats. Good thing my couches are old and ugly. |

| TEA is a big no no, it has more caffiene then coffee. I'm with Julz on this one, please don't project your need for variety in drinks on your dogs. It interferes with their digestion and you are just creating fussy eaters. |

| Yep. Sylvan is right. There are times when we humans create problems for our critters because we project human wants and needs onto them. Mine get fresh water and for a REAT treat-crushed ice. One of my girls crawls inside the bottom-drawer freezer when I get ice out for my filtered water. If you want to do your babies a favor try dissolving a buillion cube in a small amt of hot water. After it is dissolved, fill the cup up with cold water and put that down along side a bowl of plain cold water. That is as much of a choice as they need to make. |
