| not a mark on either of them. what could she have done without putting a mark on him? the vet said she could of broke his neck by grabbing him...but like i said i did not see it happen. my yard is fenced and i have decks and pool and i let them out to go potty and went to let them back in and thats what i found....it has to be her....none of the others are as protective as her...her babies are in the house while they are outside. i'm not taking any chances if it is her. i thought there might have been poisen some where or spider bite...i thought of everything...not know is the hardest....and thinking its her is too.

| I am so sorry that any of this happened to your babies and to you. I would also like to say that I don't think I would have made a post like that and stayed away from the forum for a few days. That was a pretty provocative post that would make many want to respond. I think it started going a bit south because there was no input from you. It would have helped, I think. It is a fearsome thing to have an animal that kills your other animals. It provokes deep feelings in folks. I am not making excuses for anyone. I just think it was an emotional post and drew out emotional responses. All the best to you and your babies. I do hope that you are successful in keeping her separate from the others and are able to avert further tragedy, for them and for yourself. What a nightmarish experience! |

| I know this is a difficult situation for you. Maybe you should still reach out to YorkieK9trainer to maybe evaluate her...it's awfully nice to offer free services...wouldn't hurt. Maybe she didn't do it but if you're saying you know she the aggressor of the bunch, it wouldn't hurt to see what her probabilities are or may be in the future. You've had her for so long and I would hate to think she has to be locked away from everyone after being used to being with everyone, including sleeping in the bed with you like everyone else, especially if her problem can be evaluated and fixed. Just a thought! I wish you the best of luck!

| I apologize for thinking it might have been a hoax. I was negligent in checking to see if you were a regular poster. I trulley am sorry. As for your girl; you know her best, and if you think she caused this, she probably did. After reading your response though, it seems there may have been reasons for the attacks. I had visions of little dogs being ripped up badly by a vicious female, that was not the case. The first time the whole pack was overly excited by someone at the door, and it could have been an accident. The second time she was probably defending her puppies. I still think she is overly aggressive; but working with a trainer might be the ticket to save her, and neutering her will definetly take her out of her position as head of the pack. Good luck, and please accept my apology. Sherry

| OK everybody calmmm downnn. Myyorkies is back in the loop, I think that may have been causing a lot of the angst in this thread. Don't throw a whopper then bail out, the questions keep building until people are throwing stones. I know you were upset and needed consoling and answers. However this really upsets anyone who loves animals. 1st she's not too old but she is getting there so it would be good to retire her. Obviously Lolley is a very devoted mom. I work with wild animals (primates) and I know that a female, especially a dominant female, will not hesitate to defend her babies to the death. Can't say that about Lolley because there is no direct evidence that she did it. 2nd, keep new moms, especially dominant moms, segregated with their pups until they are at least two weeks old. Why ask for trouble? It's good for mom and baby bonding. Even then only allow trusted females with them. Lolley will probably (hopefully) be a very good aunt to the other pups. I do not think it is a good idea to let the males with the pups. They don't offer anything useful, they get annoyed with the pups which pisses mom and aunts off. No offense but the guys are only good for making babies they do nothing when it comes to raising babies. I am totally serious about this but I am trying to make light. There is no big happy family when it comes to animals. Keep the males around to show perspective buyers but keep them away from mom until the kids are weaned. Your original post was quite atrocious and it wasn't until you came back and explained that it was your assumption that Lolley killed them. Not many people follow my advice because I work with monkeys but they could cure most of the worlds ills if people would only listened. Good luck, I hope Lolley makes a fine aunt. | I never knew a yorkie could kill another dog , I am still in doubt myself.... I can not understand why the person that started did thinks her lollie killed the other 2 that died suddenlly... wouldn't she hear them fighting at least? To kill a dog is not easy, would it be a battle????? i think she is looking at the wrong "killer" poison would be my first guess, but anyways: DID YOU GET A OUTOPSY done??????? it could tell you something.... i hear about a dog that died suddenlly of some intestinal complication i can not spell but something like this"intussusception" or closed to that, suden and silent... i do not know the person who lost the dog, but from who i heard i can assure it happened and it was a young yorkie healthy apparently.... I think more investigating could have being done.... anyways i really want to find out: Anyone else ever saw or know of a "killer yorkie" I want to know.

| I have a female that is a little bigger and older than Ritz and Shellie. She has become a big bully and I absolutely have to keep her seperated at all times from my small dogs. I am almost positive she picked and killed my tiny shih tzu female when I was away having my baby. She attacked and would have killed my ritzy had I not caught her and she would kill every chicken I owned if I let her run with them. I have noticed that the majority of her attacks come when she was in heat in her younger years. I have since gotten her spayed but, it hasnt helped. I jsut cannot trust her . I would hate to re-home her not because I am selfish but I dont want her to hurt anyone or anything in her new home. We have learned how to deal with her and although it is not hte perfect situation I think it is the best solution we can come up with. SHe loves to be with my daughters Older male Shih Tzu so that is who she is with when the other dogs ar getting their attention |

| I think the problem here is we were told one thing and now that there is negative response we are told another. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all could call in a dog trainer and do you think it will happen here? In lots of cases like this (not saying this person would or would not) but since being honest can't get them a re-home, they sell the dog and never tell the new owner what has happened to the dogs in their home. I sure hope that doesn't happen here. I think she said she is keeping the female ![]() I'm out of here and going on a 12 step program to keep me out of this thread

| YT Addict | It seems to me after having read all the posts by her that she has a lot of dogs 14 I think she said, and was keeping this one to breed with. She is having pups at 8 yo! I'm no breeder, but that seems too old to me. I bet after she gets the dog spayed after this last litter she will rehome her, because it seems to me she only kept her for breeding in the first place, otherwise why would she put her health above the health of the other dogs? I hope no one buys those pups from her. She doesn't need to stay in business. If she is not more responsible than this with the adults, I don't trust her with the pups! |
