Wow. That is SO horrible. So sorry to hear this. I wish I had a good answer for you. All I can offer are prayers and good thoughts. |
Bless your heart! I wish I knew what to say...I was talking to a friend of mine today...she has several Yorkies and a couple fight terribly. In fact I had to pull my little boy and girl apart the other day...they were fighting over who was going to lay on my pajama bottoms. It got really ugly and I was really afraid there for awhile. I just got Paxton 2 1/2 months ago and Cricket hated his guts....she would roll him in the back yard and growl and nip at him...I have a feeling she would do something really horrible to another female. Take care sweetie, I will prayer for you! |
I don't have a good answer for you either, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. This has to be so hard.... |
I am at a loss for words...you definitely need to separate her from the others, especially when not being supervised, that is the first step. Then I would definitely seek out the help of an animal behaviorist, to find out the root of the problem. Sorry for your loss. Good Luck. |
Mercy! How old is she? Did she just 'change' towards them? For sure you will have to keep her away from any others but maybe she should just be in a family that has only one dog. I don't see how you can change that behavior. And even if you could, I don't know how you would ever be able to have 'trust' that it won't happen again. I wouldn't risk another. How many dogs do you have? I am so very sorry this has happened to you and them. How very sad for all concerned. |
I am so sorry for your losses.this has to be hard and frustrating:( but I would say you should re-home her with some one who understands her issues and will not add another pet to the home. she is dangerous to your other dogs and I think this will continue. I am sorry I have no better advice but this will benefit all the others you have. ((((((HUGS)))))) (((AND PRAYERS))) |
Oh no! That is awful, I am so sorry for your losses. She needs to be kept away from all other pets until you can get someone to advise you on these behavioral issues. She needs to be in a one-pet home.:( |
My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry for your heartbreak. I thought only Skye terriers had that problem. |
I just saw this thread....I am so sorry, my heart is aching... I hope some other YTers will give you some advice. I also PM'd you. |

I wish I had known that about Skye Terriers. I adopted an adult female a few years ago and she killed my little female dachshund. Then she started in on my westie so I had to give her up. :( To the original poster I would definitely rehome her or the other dogs. She needs to be an only dog. |
Oh my goodness gracious....I honestly don\'t even know what to say about this, but I do want to say that I am very, very sorry. This has GOT to be sooo incredibly hard for you, and not to mention incredibly devastating. I cannot even imagine. I am just SO sorry. I wish I could find the right words.... |
I am so shocked by this!! She\'s actually killed 3 of your dogs!! Her own family members!! I would worry about her with kids or any other animals. I am so sorry for your loss but I think for the safety of your other dogs and people who come in contact with you, you need to find Lollie another home ASAP. Good Luck! |
Like everyone else, I am so sorry you had to go through this. Definately keep her seperated from any other pets or children, until you can find a single pet home for her. How horrible for you. I would be devistated. I will keep you in my heart and prayers.. God Bless You, Bobbi |
