| do you think using pomade is dangerous? i was thinking about using a very tiny amount of pomade to keep Kash's hair out of his eyes while it grows out... what do you all think? what if it's an all natural/organic pomade? i figured pomade would hold better than gel. i just don't know what else to use. his hair is poking his poor little eyes and they're watering like crazy. as long as i'm really careful not to get the pomade in his eyes when applying the product to his hair, do you think it'll be okay? thanks!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I guess you posted in the grooming thread and I'm responding to you there too. Those ingredients do sound safer than most, I guess you would have to google each one and check for safety in eye, but like I said in the other thread since Joey has this ulceration, I'm really afraid to use anything. However, part of me wonders if his hair caused this or perhaps him scratching his hair out of his eyes was a factor, so I really wish I could find something safe to use.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Here's a picture so you can see what I'm talking about. Is this topknot hair or mustache hair? In the meantime, it just seems to poke him in the eye. I actually had mastered the art of clipping it in a little "V" when I decided to let it grow. This will take years.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | On another thread, a member said that she had purchased Pet Silk Topknot Gel at PetSmart, but no such luck here. I ordered some, and am so glad to have found something that will help. Glad you posted the question.

| i ordered a different brand of topknot hair gel after searching the YT forums... it's called Cindra Sculpting Gel. It was cheaper than the Pet Silk (which swayed my decision, LOL). i think both products work well drawing from the opinions of other YTers... so, i can't wait to get it!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I would'nt I know it's probably annoying you,but I would'nt. They naturally have eye gook, and what if it stings, even if it is all natural.
