| Brushing I have started to brush my 1.2lb furbaby and she is wonderful she holds still and seems to enjoy and i want to keep it up. What is the best brush to use on a puppy to keep them matt free. I noticed last nite a small matt by her hind leg. So i want a good brush that will throughly brush her entire body without hurting her.

| I have a boy with a cotton coat who tolerates being brushed at best but will NOT let me at his belly or hind legs, fights and bites the brush... so I bought a matt breaker comb thinking that would help. Nope! I gave up and get him groomed with a short puppy cut! haha I couldn't keep up with his coat. I was brushing him for an hour a night when he was a baby. Crazy! Good Luck though!

| Daily brushing and using cowboy magic on any mats will help resolve your problem. I use a CC brush on my yorkie and a madden bursh on my maltese. I use a variety of brushes and combs. But the big thing is to BRUSH DAILY and never brush the coat dry. Always use a light spray on the coat when you brush. Hope this helps. By the way, I keep my yorkie in full coat!

| Okay, What's a CC Brush? I brush my Yorkie every day, wash out the eye stuff with a cotton ball, and brush her teeth as my vet said he has taken out Yorkie's teeth at six months. That one has to be vigilant in teeth cleaning! I just use a reg small brush, and a comb. It works! Pat |
