| HELP! Need 2 convince DH for 3rd yorkie! Help! Calling all yorkie owners with that can assist me in convincing my husband that getting a 3rd yorkie (which is a girl, as opposed to our 2 boys) is not insane!!! We currently have two ADORABLE little boys 12 months and 7months and someone at work recommended me to adopt their in-laws 10 month girl. Which age wise fits perfect with the ages of our little boys, she is houstrained, obediance trained, she is gorgeous and sweet, she is AKC, she does a smile with her teeth showing...SHE IS JUST A MUST!!! Plus for free becuase they want her to go to a good home. They just retired and travel a lot and the husband does not want to travel with her They have offered to let me have for the weekend to make sure she will get along with the boys and fit in our household!! CAN YOU ALL PLEASE GIVE ME SOME VALID ARGUEMENTS FOR MY DH!!! I mean really what is one more, we already have a pet sitter, we have all the supplies, the experience, the great vet...My daughter and I will be forever indebted to you all if you help us!!

| Oh wow, keep reiterating the word "free" and tell him that kind of offer doesn't come along often! When you already have two, one more isn't that much different! Show him pictures if you have them, and keep saying how gorgeous she is, and how much it would mean to you to have her. Ask him to just give it the weekend to try it out and see. Then, he will hopefully fall in love with her, and you'll have your girl! But, whatever you do, don't say "this will be the last one, I promise" because when you want a 4th, he'll just throw that up to you. Good luck!!!!! ETA: Oh, and if you get him to say yes, let me know how you did it. I have two boys, and I want a girl now!

| How funny...with my second I just brought him home and my DH had a fit and now Jaxon is his puppy. Whereever my DH is Jaxon is...However, I broke the news this morning and he said NO, NO, NO. He told me "You know how I feel, they already take time away from our time." "They take up the bed." "We have them forever." I told him she would sleep with our 10 year daughter who already agreed, I pushed the fact she is already trained. He main arguement when I brought home Jaxon was the potty training again when we just finished... Anyway, he only and major complaint is that the puppies make it hard for us to have "alone" time becuase they are always around. I told him I would make changes I asked him to just let me bring her home for the weekend before he refuses to even think about it You are all right...I mean it was hard to go from 1 to 2, but to go to 3 should be easy. Plus a girl, pink, dresses, bows, pink beds, bowls, pink strollers. Don't get me wrong my two little men are the loves and had some cute stuff...but my daughter would like a little girl

| I think thats the best idea! Just give it a "trial run" for a weekend and he will see that one more to the family isnt that much more work! As long as you have the time, love, finances, and patience for her, I don't see why he would refuse. And if shes already trained, thats defianlty a plus. Just make sure you compromise and set aside "alone time" together. He'll be a happy camper. She'll be a daddy's girl in no time!
