| Two at once ? Hello everyone. Just a quick question...we are sending our boys in to be neutered. Does anyone have experience with two being done at the same time. I thought it would be better to have them both done at the same time - this way they both will have that "down" time together. They like to play roughly and I didn't want to jeopardize one being able to play and wrestle and the other not to be able to do so. Just wondered what your thoughts are ? Thanks

| Smart thinking!!!! I bet it will work out great. Neither will be in the mood for rough housing while the other is laid up. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

| Good thinkin!!! Poor babies!!! Both will be laid up for a day or so! But I do hope they do well. I am sure you are a bit nervous, but they will be just fine! Please let us know how they are doing afterward.

| nervous ? actually I am quite nervous. I am planning on talking with the vet tomorrow to make sure he uses the right anesthesia but it still is a little worrisome isn't it. These little guys are just that = so little. Max is only a little over 4 lbs and Milo is over 7 lbs now. I have read all the articles etc. about what can happen if they don't use the right anesthesia but with any anesthesia is there really a 100% gaurantee that everything will be all right ? Well, wish us luck and keep us in your prayers.

| Sounds smart, just make sure they don't lick each other down there in their private parts after the surgery. We wish them well during the procedure! |

| Yes it is a good idea. Bonnie and Millie were booked in for the same day and were going to have them done at the same time but then Millie came in season and we had to wait two months for her. Then she had to have dental work done last month so we have to wait another month till she can go back to be spayed. Chrissy, Millie and Bonnie xxx

| Mac & Mellie were done at the same time. One spayed one neutered. They had to stay over night. My vet is great they let them stay in the same cage together so they could snuggle up to each other. Also when they came home I didn't have to worry about one wanting to play and the other having to take it easy. And of couse I only had to go through the nervous breakdown thing once.
