Mac & Mellie were done at the same time. One spayed one neutered. They had to stay over night. My vet is great they let them stay in the same cage together so they could snuggle up to each other. Also when they came home I didn't have to worry about one wanting to play and the other having to take it easy. And of couse I only had to go through the nervous breakdown thing once.
