I think if you can go live in Australia I would definitely go. Once you settle down and have kids it is a lot harder to do those kinds of things so take advantage of it for sure. I'm excited for you. As for bringing your little doggy....I would. My friends just went to Japan and their animals were quarantined and it wasn't that bad. Of course you will miss your baby and your baby will miss you but having your dog there with you to experience this would be awesome. I think I would just bring Maverick if I ever had to go any where. Good luck with your decision.

I did some more research last night and it looks like just the plane ride for Layla would cost almost as much as a ticket for me! So with just the flight there and quarantine it would be around $2500!!! If I do take her, I might not be going next year. I would have to do a lot more saving first
