I think it teaches the kids to be more cautious--I remind them, even if they are being careful to "Not forget how fragile they are and to be careful". I remember my boss selling a yorkie to a family, the little girl had just turned 5--she was so happy and held that puppy very carefully--she said it was going to be her pup and she was going to call her Sarah.

I could not possibly watch them every second. Raising your kids has nothing to do with an accident. Im not being mean please dont take it that way and Im glad you have resposible small children but many do not. I guess this is a touchy subject for me because I do have children under 12 and I would have been very disappointed had my boss said--too bad you have little kids so you can't have these pups. This will have to be a subject where I will agree to disagree rather then argue about it.
