You know what most accidents are preventable if you know what was going to happen...unfortunately that is the very thing that makes them accidents... we all do our best to protect and love our babies but sometimes things happen anyway...all of these are tragic stories and hard as they are to read they do serve to warn those of us who read them of possible things to watch for....I lost my little rhen just before christmas to a fall off the couch onto the tile floor....she hit her head and I picked her up and could feel her heart beat and I felt when it stopped...I have wanted to go back in time to just change the one thing but I can't so I hope these stories help to save someone else's baby from the same fate...rhenny was up and down off the couch all the time it was 2 am and she woke me up on the couch to take her outside..I keep wishing I had gone to bed because there is carpet in there... Please keep sharing your stories... |

Once when my parents were at the house Chuckie and Candy were playing with a little rawhide bone, when Chuckie started barking fratically, my Mom was like "What is the matter with you Chuckie?" But when she looked at Candy, Candy was choking and was foaming at the mouth, (Because she was choking) Peed all over herself, and was fallen over on her side, my Mom called my Dad and he picked her up really fast and she spit out the bone. Thanks to my Dad Candy is still alive today! -Chuckie and Candy's Mamma |
