| Glad to read that your baby is back home with you. That was very nice of your vet to give you a break on the bill. That dosen't happen very often. I am so happy he's now doing fine. |

| We think his food may have been old. We aren't sure because we took it out of the bag and into a dog food container. The vet says sometimes food can go back quicker than you think. We only had it about 3 months and It had gone bad because we brought it in and got it tested. She recommened a new diet preferably a homemade one. And I think I may do that because I don't really trust dog food much anymore after our scare. I don't think its anything anyone should be worried about. We kept his food in the garage and the climate down here is crazy, hot, cold, hot, cold. The vet said that has alot to do with it and we are keeping his food inside now. Anyone got any recommendations on what to start him out on with a homemade diet?

| Glad you figured out what Fabio's problem was. It's stressful when our furbabies are sick. One of the things I have learned on YT is that dog food can become rancid. I have also learned that all the dog food needs to be emptied from the container before new dog food is filled in. These are things I had never thought of. Your discovery is a reminder. Thanks.

| I never knew how truly fragile they really are. And this has really opened my eyes. I am going to keep a closer watch from now on. My baby doesn't live with me, he lives with my boyfriend. Thankfully it is only an hour away and I go see him every weekend and 1 night during the week. He does take very good care of him, but I miss him! And its hard for me to keep such a close eye on him as I did when I had him. Don't get my wrong, Luke takes GREAT care of him, but he didn't think of the dog food being in the garage would be a bad thing, then again neither did I. I just had a closer watch on him when he was with me and I miss that! So i am not in control as much as I once was, and you know how women like control! LOL!
