| No new puppy for me I was supposed to pick up my new yorkie girl Sunday. She's the one my sister called me about getting last week. Well, the husband has decided that he wants the right to visit the puppy wherever it goes, and that I live too far away to make this possible. I am very upset. #1 I've never heard of "visitation rights" when someone rehomes their dog #2 I wouldn't agree to it anyway, because that's just me. Well, I got that off my chest...............

| That's so sad. I know you agonized the decision to get the other pup. Maybe the situation will change and it will work out for you to have her.

| Is there anyway you could still get her and she could go with you any time you visit your sister and then he could see her? I think over time this guy will want to see her less and less. I adopted my 2 from my daughter's dance teacher and I would still take them to the dance studio a lot - not because she asked but because it was fun. Bubba was even in dance recital one year - starring as Toto! Her parents also watched Bubba & Roxy a lot when I was on vacation. I wondered what happened with you and this little one. Maybe they will have second thoughts if they can't find her a home on their terms

| My sister encountered this same situation when she was adopting a cat from a young man. Finally, he relented and let them adopt the cat, realizing her family could offer a better home for him. So, don't give up hope. Sheila |

| I am so sorry and know how disappointed you are. I hope that somehow, they change their minds and you end up with the baby.

| Oh that stinks! Thats weird tho. Why is he giving it up if he still wants to be able to see her. I agree with the other posters, maybe after time he's want to see her less and less. I'm sorry this happened to you tho. I know how excited you must have been.

i don't think she mentioned it to be bad; but unfortunate, maybe. don't give up hope. there's a chance. everything happens for a reason, and i'm a firm believer in that.
