|  ...So I did it. Hello, Still a newbie and thank you to all who responded here and privately about my agony in choosing a pet recently. So the purists will be happy to know that I chose the Yorkie and he's coming home next Thursday!!! I'm now in happy/panic/WTH did I just do mode. Went to the pet store today and started to get familiar with everything....enough stuff to lose your mind in there! Of course, I also swung by eBay and got a cute little handbag to carry him in until he's big enough for his leash and to go outside (he's 14 weeks). Then, to the dollar store for his first two toys: a Bart Simpson ball and a little stuffed puppy. OK. Gotta stop.Too many Yorkie fumes. Looking forward to this new adventure with you all. DodgeR  |

| Congrats on your new puppy! I know how excited you must be. Yes, please post pics once you get him. I got my yorkie about 3 weeks ago and im in that new yorkie mode too!

|  Congratulations and good luck! I would say pick up some natural treats and some soft cushy blankets or pillows. My babies love to jump on them and roll around. Can't wait to see pictures.

| Yay!!! New puppy! So happy for you. You will absolutely love being a yorkie mom and yes, I too went through the same....WTH did I just do when I first got my baby. But after 3 days, I was absolutely smitten and couldn't imagine not having him in my life. You will love it. I promise! Get ready to be a YT addict....that's the next phase in the puppy love. Ha!
