Boys in dresses????
 
I have noticed that many people are putting dresses on their boy dogs? I don't understand this. Did you want a girl and didn't get one or something? Why do this?

I haven't noticed anyone putting "dresses" on their male dogs. :confused: I've seen a lot of male dogs wearing pj's, hoodies and tanks but that's about it.

With so many cute dresses out there, I'm not saying I haven't been tempted, but even I haven't done this yet. :D

Haven't seen anyone either other than that one modeling job. I can't see someone doing that to their poor boy.

I did, I'm not sure they were selling clothes or what, but the tread was something like "update on golden yorkie" or something like that. He/she has a cheerleading outfit on his male dog. I asked why, but no response. I just think it is cruel to put a dress on a boy for no reason. Modeling is one thing, but just to do it is another.

I can't imagine why you think it is cruel? The dog does not know the difference of what it is wearing. Why make a post about someone on this board for that? Not very nice at all...

I think it is cruel to do this to a human boy, but there is still "some" difference between yorkies and humans.

We need to be sensitive to those who have Yorkies with Gender Identity issues. I am sure that there are a number of Yorkie "cross-dressers" out there and it's time that they have the freedom to come out of the closet and proudly display their ruffles and bows. We don't think anything about a girl wearing blue or a jeans outfits - so what about our pink and bow loving boys? What I see is just outright discrimination against the guys......

and Secondly - please forgive me if my post in any way offended you. My guys and gals generally don't wear clothes - I had a really rough night with a pregnant mom who had a hypocalcimic episode - I am sleep deprived and a bit silly.

I have a boy and he's very masculine :D no bows and pinks, and we keep pastels at a minimum.

I've been here for a long time and have never seen anyone do this - where are you getting this idea ?

Yes this was totally a Joke. Diggy has been around here since he was 7 weeks old and everyone has watched him grow up....He is ALL boy and I also have a lil girl named Bella...so the dresses on DIggy last 2 seconds long enuff to get a pic and drive his Aunt Kim, Aunt Poo, and Koss CRaZy!!! Which it works! :p

We kid around in here a lot and I can honestly say I dont think i have ever seriously put their boy in a dress, Bows, yes, top knots yes, full long coats yes.

So again Just a joke!

Diggy is pretty tho isnt he?????:p:p:p:p spoken like a true biased momma....:)
