[QUOTE=RawfedYorkieLuv;1954758]LOL, this is very funny indeed!!!!! I'm rolling over here! I remember when I was a kid, I used to babysit the neighbor's toddler boy for a few hours on weekend mornings and when it was raining outside we looked for things to amuse us indoors. I had a large doll and her *wardrobe* was modeled by this toddler. He didn't mind and giggled the whole time. I hear that today he's a successful married father of two and doesn't remember those *incidents*, lol. QUOTE] I'll admit I put my little brother in a dress once I think I was 5 y/o and he was 3 y/o, and yes my mom got pics. I used to hold them over his head when meeting his girlfriends. :yelrotflm I do know of one mom that puts bows in her boy's hair but not dresses. |
This is a great thread I needed the laugh!!! We are definitely guilty of some questionable colored bows;) |
I hope Diggy is our GE buddy. It'll be so much fun shopping for her....i mean him:p Do you think he'll like pink or purple bows better? JK. I really don't think there is an issue. They don't know the difference. I dressed Rosie like a rapper with a gold chain and backwards cap. Does that make me a mean momma?!?! |
o.k...... i bite... SOMEONE PLEASE post the "im leaving and taking my dog" thread,i cant seem to find it!!!! |

LOL, my brother is 5 years younger than I am and there were plenty of times he was my real live baby doll.:p |

I know, he's doing okay though, somehow.:p I like to think it's macho name, ala Sugar Ray Leonard. No really he's a total mama's boy and the name suits him perfectly.:D |

is this the one???http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...puppy-lol.html |
I've seen a couple males on YT in dresses and I have to say at first I was a little :scratchhe but hey, to each his own. I wouldn't put Rylie in dresses, but I don't mind putting him in vest made out of slightly girly prints, and he'll wear bows when his bangs grow out. I have Lacy to put dresses on. But you know what? They are DOGS! They do NOT know the difference...they don't know what color they are wearing or what style of outfit they are wearing. How in the world is it cruel to dress a dog a certain way? I mean, I think it's a little funny to put a boy in a dress (for more than a try-on or whatever) but it's in no way harmful to the dog... who cares? Why not worry about the real cruelty some dogs suffer. At least the boys in dresses are probably very loved and spoiled |

That's kind of a joke on the original one. It's come up a bunch when people start threads to list the funniest thread or threads you remember. Someone will know just where it is and post it. |
The original post must have been before my time, that was the only one I remembered with that saying. sorry |
1 Attachment(s) OK, I am going to have to ask you all to be a little sensitive here - have you all forgotten how much Remi loved his Halloween costume? http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...ihalloween.jpg Remi thoroughly enjoys sashaying his little butt around in a dress, even in public(but only at Lowe's where I work:D). I have a whole boatload of gender challenged critters living in my home - one bird flirts with himself then makes whoopiewith himself in front of his mirror. He's clueless when my female flirts with him:rolleyes:. He's the one that talks to his claw. Go figure. Now, Roxy, my sweet little petunia, will hump any stuffed animal bigger than she is until I drag her off of it. Can you picture this adorable little sweet pea in the pic below in a frilly little dress? Yeah, me too:D. She's the mud-slingin', hole-diggin' puppy crack-lovin' diva that lives at my house. I have a 20+ lb tom cat with the tiniest little squeak for a meow. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...ng-snuffy1.jpg http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...ng-snuffy1.jpg http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...ng-snuffy3.jpg Fozzy Bear tends to be a little fru-fru, too. I wonder if it's the way I raise my little one's? Hehe, I know I used to make my little brother wear my dresses when my best friend and I played dress-up! It takes a real man to wear a dress - proudly:p. Ahhhh, as I type, Roxy just tried to violate Remi...............and he's smaller than she is. She's must be branching out. I say - let them be anyone they want to be. I should probably mention that I haven't slept since sometime yesterday morning so blame this post on sleep deprivation:D:D. |

I just bumped 'em both...OMG I LMAO every time I read it! |

That's just like saying a female shouldn't dress like a male. Do you think thats "cruel" too?? I say to each their own! ;) Btw cheeselover8481, Rosie looks adorable!!!! I love the grill!!! That is just too cute! :D |
Wow, if this is happening around here, I have surely missed it  LOL :p I have never done that to my studly boy  and never would - it's just wrong LOL :p My Stedman would be sooo offended  He thinks that he is Mr. MACHO man!! And not to mention, his daddy would NEVER have it lol  P.S. - No offense to anyone who does this to their males....LOL!!! |
OH WAIT....NEVERMIND, I found the thread :p :p :p Wow, I never would have guessed! :D He sure is CUTE though, lol!!!! |

LOL Same here with Jake!! He doesn't like clothes PERIOD!!! I tried (again, sigh) to put a night shirt on him the other night. He had it off in 7 seconds.....yes, I timed him! And, he gave me this look, like "Mother!! What WERE you thinking???" So, I can only imagine if I put a DRESS on him!!! He would pack up his toys and leave! Jackson, on the other hand, LOVES clothes. But, I would never put a dress on him!! He's too much of a "manly man"! Actually, he thinks he's a "bad arse"....but he's a big ole' baby!:D |
Thank you to all. I was having a not so hot day and this thread cracked me up!!! I loved all the pictures and animations and everything! We try to put Max in t-shirts, but nothing girly!!! And I haven't decided what I will do with his hair when it is long enough....I didn't know top knots were for girls? But we will see!!! Ha Ha Thanks again for the laughs. Oh and maybe we should be in trouble too, since we do call him Maxi, isn't the a little fem? :D |
I think you shouldnt judge people really for it,. I have a boy and i put a rubber band in his hair... blue ones, red ones.. and sometimes a pink one. Ok a dress i wouldnt do,. but if someone wants to do that and he is fine with it,. why not :) LOL.. |
Little Man chooses what he wants to wear. I lay out all of his clothes out in my office/his room floor. I let him in and he will sniff each one and then he will snatch up the one he wants to wear for the day That's a great idea:thumbup:. Does Little Man have his favorites? |
