| Am I crazy??? Help!!!! I have a 7 month old boy and now I want another...A little girl for him to play with when he's home alone. Well Rocco was neutered about 2 weeks ago and before then he was doing great with housebreaking, very few accidents. We thought he was heaven sent. But lately he's been doing #2 inside. I don't know what to do. How do I fix it? And should I wait to get another when he is fully housebroken? Should i wait til he is at least a year or two? HELP??? |

| I am sorry I can help, but BUMP! My Tootie thinks he is SUPPOSED to do #2 inside.... he will come IN from the yard to do his "business"...... Mine are spaced pretty far apart but I would imagine it wouldnt be tht hard to potty train two at a time, as long as they have a good routine?????.... just a guess.... good Luck! d

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I don't think you're crazy; I think it's great when people have two. Potty training often has a setback after neutering and times of illness. Your boy is almost trained and I think he could help the puppy become trained quicker. I think having two is even more important if you need to be away from the home a great deal of time. The last consideration is monetary and a second puppy can put strains on a budget. You should always have an emergency fund. By the way we do have a Crazy Club!

| Setbacks are normal after surgery, neutering, illness, or any kind of changes in routine. I would just keep up with his potty training, taking him out often or taken to a pee pad often. If you are using pads and he does #2 on the floor, tell him NO firmly and take him to his pad. Maybe even put it on his pad to remind him where to go. If he is outside trained, take him immediately outside. He will soon get it again. As for getting another, I was the same way! I got Jackson a year after Jake. That seemed like really good timing for us, as Jake was fully trained and not having accidents. But, when you feel you are ready for the extra work of training another and taking care of two, go for it! I have never regretted it for a second! I want to get a third...a girl this time! lol Good luck!

| My Rocco is the best gift my BF has ever given me!!! And I cannot fathom how I even lived my life before him. So needless to say, my BF is a little jealous of me and Rocco's relationship. We are very close, Rocco only listens to me. So I used the "Jedi Mind Trick" and told my BF we should get a girl cause they are more attached to men and she can be his little shadow! He agreed!! HA HA!! That's the thing a girl's gotta do to get her way! |

| Well all I can say is that having another dog in the hosue is an excellent companion for you pup. My baby LOVES our other dog, Nuppy, and sometimes I don't know what she would do without her. They play all the time and sleep curled up together. I feel so good knowing that when I am gone she still has Nuppy to keep her company. And Abbey is still a puppy so she wants to play 24/7 and I can't always keep up with her, so when mom is tired and needs to do work, she goes and plays with Nuppy. And if they ever have to be seperated they are both so sad. So, yes I highly reccomment it. This is what I told my boyfriend, a silly analogy...What if you were a human living with a bunch of dogs, sure it would be alright but then imagine if one day you had another human...ah, finally someone who is on my level, I can communicate with, and basiclly a compaion. Our puppies may love us but it's nice to give them a friend of their own species...haha. I hope I don't sound crazy. I can see how I may.

| I can tell you that I just added a 2nd yorkie to our home and it was a Godsend!! Maggie has a playmate her size and she has loved every minute of it. I honestly can't believe I waited so long to get another! maggie was a year and a half old when i got tessa...but i think adding a 2nd when the 1st one is still young is a GREAT idea. GO FOR IT oh..and be sure to post pics when you do

| We got Brooklyn just recently and Oliver is a year and a half. They couldnt be closer....play...play...play. And your theory of Daddys girl....correct! She is a daddys girl. My husband really did not want another one, but, he gave in to me because i wanted a little girl so bad. You should see him with her....it is cute! She smothers him with kisses when he comes in from work! He couldnt love her more. (he thought he could never love another the way he loves Oliver...)My vote.....go for it! Its GREAT!!
