How does the Parents temperament affect offspring?

well most dam's are very protective off their offsprings...and that may be the reason...

I called for a second visit and did not get a call back from the breeder..I guess she either sold her or maybe thought we were not a good match because of the way the dam acted towards us..Wow that is a first. So the search continues. I swear I think I am not meant to have a girl. Everytime I have an opportunity for a female there is always some sort of roadblock. But boys are in abundance. I guess I need to go with what the Universe wants for us. Thanks so much for all your advice..

You've done more "homework" than anyone I know, I sure hope you get what you are looking for.

well don't be so discourage in finding the right baby..trust me it took me a long long time to find my first boy....you will know when it is meant to be...hehe

hehe...it took me nearly 2 years to find my first male yorkie...Yoshi...but the moment i meet him i knew he was meant for me...then a year later i got MeiLing and Kioko...hehe

now i have 4 yorkies and 2 maltese.

My gosh..how wonderful of you to have so much patience and love. I was looking for a maltese too but I kept finding them with bad tear staining. I would end up obsessing over cleaning their eyes all the time. So I thought yorkies are darker and You won't see as much on them if they did get a lil soiled...your a great pack leader..

hehe Maltese were my first...i still love the breed...and then the Yorkshire breed came next...and i just can't stop..hehe...i am thinking about adding a few more Maltese to my family..but with the new dog breeder law here in Wichita...it may not be possible...i am looking to show but because the law that went in affect...it may change all that...

She is just gorgeous, and don't worry about the ears being down, there are many threads on how to tape the ears, but I think at this age it's rather common.
