LOL! Loved your story and it gave me such a laugh! I've also broken the law...mostly with Maddie. Libby is so wild and crazy, I don't know if she'd behave in a store. Maddie just sits in her bag and watches the goings on through the mesh window. One time, in Target, in line at the checkout, Maddie barked. Everyone was looking around saying, "Was that a real dog?...Where is the dog???" They never did figure out it was me. LOL |

One time I had my pup with me at Nordstom's and an employee saw me holding the bag and she said oh my gosh, is there a puppy in there? I smiled and said yes, and she goes wow he's so small. Then she proceeded to tell me that a lady had her cat in a purse in Nordstrom's the day before. She laughed. I thought....my gawd, my cat would never want to go with me anywhere. HA! Then I went down to the sunglass area and a lady had her pup in a bag with the top unzipped so he could peep out while she shopped. No one cared. Truly, I think some places are seriously uptight with all of their ordinances and such. :bleh: |

I have taken mine everywhere. I know it is a health code violation to have an animal where they sell or cook food. So here is my story - I went into Cold Stone which is a creamery and Mia was in her bag. The rude teenager said "you need to leave" and I told him I was just picking up an ice cream cake and he said "no you have to leave" so I asked for the manager, which wasn't there. If he had asked me in a nice way or told me he would be in trouble I would have understood and left peacefully. I called the District Manager and I was apologized to profusley and told he should have explained better and served me outside. I got 3 free coupons and a letter of apology from corporate. |
