Donating YT Addict | The power of Yorkies I haven't been around much this week as we have had a family crisis. My husband's step-father commited suicide Sunday night. He was so very sick with Parkinson's and could not take it anymore. We had to rush to Bangor and had no choice but to take Ozzy with us. (although even if we had choices we needed him with us) That little guy...he sat on laps, gave out yorkie kisses...got the zoomies and had a roomful of devastated people smiling and laughing. I can't imagine any other dog having that effect on people. I watch my husband with him as he struggles to come to grips with his loss and I thank God that little Yorkie came into our lives. He is so special. For 5 months old he has been so good with all these new circumstances and I am so very proud of him. He is our Yorkie Angel

| I am so sorry for your loss, but I am glad that you have your little one to keep people positive! He sounds like he would make a very good therapy dog, as many yorkies do. |

| Bless his heart! I'm so glad he was there for you and your husband. Adie is a real help to my husband. DH has had three back surgeries and is in extreme pain most of the time. He is on opioids and has to stay home most of the time. Up until we got Adie it was a real struggle for me to deal with the constant bad mood and complaints (not that I blame him) but now he is in a good mood most of the time. He just loves that little dog to pieces. She has really lifted him out of a deep depression! |

| I am sorry for your loss. I agree that yorkies are miracle workers. I had no idea how much a dog could raise people's spirits. I think it is because they are always living in the "now," never sad about yesterday or worrying about tomorrow, just always ready to enjoy life and love others. If only we could be more like them! |

| I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Good job, Ozzy! Yorkies are like little rays of sunshine ... they seem to be able to just "know" what we need. God bless and comfort you and your family.
