OK California is more expensive thats for sure. I paid 8.50 for Mandy 5 years ago. 850.00 for my teapot Teddy. 1500.00 for Krissy as she has champions in her lines and DNA testing on all parents, grandparents, etc. I got Chelsey and Kayla from my girls so they don't count. All are AKC registered. |
this is amazing well not sure if I should say anything..when I see people getting such cheap yorkies.. I think were in the world do I live... Maravilhosa, 2,200.00 then had to fight hard for her papers.. breeder played games with me.. some of you know my story... heartbreak and drama from breeder I went to.. Dallas was 2,000. as a stud.. my friend has him now.. free.. he was not a good stud, but a great dog... Kandie 700.00 a little larger then she was suppose to be.. but the greatest yorkie.. Gracie, lots of heartache, and worries.. tube fed for two weeks night and day for her first two weeks... she was expensive and we did not add up her cost to keep her alive, we just did it and kept her...for the grace of god she is still alive. Kruse 2,500 I co own him as a stud.. hopefully a stud... kacee 600.00 .. He just came from heaven.. my boy died at 5 months after kacee came into my life.. he did everything pooh did.. everything.. was not planning on getting a puppy it happened..( not from a pet store) anne |
It varies a lot...since I have 9...:p Buuuttt I will say that: Maddie, Hadley, Kayla, and Brooke were all under $1000, the latter 3 because I'm good friends with the breeder (also my mentor), and I work for her now...;) Ryder and Sophie were both $1000 (from the same breeder, my mentor) And Faith, Lola, and Tucker were all over $1000...:p Although Faith was technically a gift. ;) |
I paid 1000.00 for Sadie and 1500.00 for Lillie. They were bought from the same breeder a yr apart. She has gone up AGAIN! now she is charging 1800.00! Looks like I won't be getting another one from her! |

I paid 1700 My son paid 1,700.00 and you are all going to say NOOOOOOOO, but yes, my son thought he was doing the right thing and did not know about puppy mills. He bought him from a pet store. Barclay was a surprise gift from a loving son who knew I wanted a Yorkie but didn't know how to go about finding a breeder and researching the purchase. I was so surprised when he opened his coat one Sunday afternoon and out popped Barclay's head, it was love at first sight. I love my baby boo. He has been with me for one month now and I couldn't love him more. I just think the price was ridiculous and after educating my son he is now aware of puppy mills. |
Maggie was free from my sisters friend. She is Rocky's mom. We paid $600 for Sunnie. She is Jack II's mom. |

Scooter is a rescue Yorkie and I paid 100.00. The previous owner had to give him up when she was moving back home and her Mother wouldn't allow him. He is the sweetest, most loveable dog we've ever had. Their loss! |
