We paid $650.00 for Rudy. But then again, I have no doubt that the Puppy Store we bought him in, ( sorry, this was BEFORE we knew any better ) the breeder was a puppymiller. :(:(:( |
Paid OMG thanks Y'all for making me feel like i got ripped off!!!! Well i bought Oscar for 1300. Then again he came with a one year wuarentee- (that looks severly mispelled... oh well) He gets all shots free. Anytime he feels sick i get free meds. He was a lot. But worth every penny. truth is you google it online ive seen them go for as much as 3500. YIKES! |
Cinderella cost me $3500 CDN. She was initially a keeper from the breeder but she was too underweight to be shown, or to breed. I think Yorkies have to be about 4lbs to be shown. She came with all the papers, and the breeder only sold her with a written and signed guarantee from me that I spay her. She came from a town outside of Calgary. I wanted to fly down to pick her up, but there were absolutely no flights from any carrier (that excepted dogs in the cabin) that matched flights from Vancouver to meet her. So unfortunately, she had to fly herself for abit on cargo, and I met her in Calgary, and we flew back together to Vancouver. She was so quiet in her bag the whole time! I was so proud of her:thumbup: I don't know if she was traumatized by her airplane flight though, because for a girl who's so crazy and confident, she's terrified of going out in the car at night, or passing through tunnels. I think the darkness and shadows scare the living daylights out of her:( |
I paid $850 for Elvis. He is AKC and papers available upon proof of neuter. He is the sweetest little boy and a first boy for me as I always had girl dogs. I'm crazy about Elvis :animal36 |
Lexie was $650 and Tucker we saved from his dad after his first mom passed away for $400. His first owners had paid $1700 for him plus $200 for shipping because she had cancer, but she passed away and her husband didn't want him and was going to take him to the shelter so I offered him $400 to let me and my husband take him. So both my yorkies, who are worth everything to me, were very affordable. |

2 Attachment(s) Bentley (7.5lbs) was $1000 and Louie (currently 2.5lbs) was $1650 (anniversary gift from BF  ) Both have AKC papers. I love my boys to death. Now I'm the only female in the house! |
Abbey was 400$. That was by far the best price I found for a purebred with papers. And for a GIRL bc usually girls are more expensive than boys. I got her in El Paso, TX and the breeder was also selling her borther for 350$. I actually got her by seeing an ad in the newspaper for her. I would check every day and call and usually I would call and the people selling the dogs would not even speak english and know nothing about the dog!! I knew I would never buy from some one like that. So I got up really early one morning, checked the paper, saw her for $400 and immediately called. The woman was really nice, knew a lot of the breed, had her papers, had the parents on site...everything! It was amazing esp from what I had been dealing with. Also-when I went over to see the pups the breeder told me some man had called and said he wanted the girl. The baby boy was adorable but I knew I wanted a girl so after some pleading, I left with my Abbey. Looking back on it, I really feel like it was fate, everything fell into place that day. And I was amazed to get such a great yorkie for that price. :D |

Mia was $1200 with limited AKC registration. Best $1200 I've ever spent! |
Penny was $950.00. She was a birthday present.:D |
Lucy cost me $6.75 per day for a year. Now she's free! :D |
We paid $200 for Nugget...we lucked out....my boyfriend met the breeder while delivering pizzas...she loved us and knew we couldn't afford more..hes about 12 pounds...but I wouldnt change it for the world =) |
I paid 850.00 not registered....canada. There is only 2 registered breeders in my province and they sell their pups for about 1500.00 plus. |
Zoe was $900 + $250 shipping from Arkansas and Peppee was $600 with shipping included from Texas. I think because Zoe was 12 weeks she adjusted from the plane...or maybe they took better care of her. Peppee is very skiddish now, Breeder said he was never this way..she named him. I bought him at 5 months so maybe being a bit older and the plane ride was enough to scare him into being afraid. He cowers with new people but eventually warms up. I don't know if I would ever buy another without going and getting them myself. |
