| The longest day of my life - 23rd Apr 08 Hey all, just thought to share an incident on the longest day of my life yesterday. My Oreo is preggy and this is how it goes. 22nd Apr 10pm - Oreo vomitted and started digging at her whelping box 23rd Apr 3am - Apparently she did not sleep the whole night and I can hear her digging, as I am a light sleeper, I got up to check on her whenever I hear her digging 23rd Apr 10.30am - I was at work and my sister told me that she has started pushing and was panting heavily 23rd Apr 11.00am - I rushed home and prepared the towels, switch on thelamp, got the thermostat. 23rd Apr 12.30pm -she is still pushing!! and still panting heavily. Called the vet and was advised to hold on because no discharge from her. 23rd Apr 2.30pm - Called the vet that nothing is coming out and rushed her to the vet 23rd Apr 3.00pm - reach vet and vet checked and confirmed our worst fears, she needs to be operated immediately. 23rd Apr 5.00pm - recieved a call that all pups (3 of them!) are doing well and mummy is well. My hubby and I were totally drained at the end of the day. I am so happy that everyone is well and good. Thanks for reading this. |

| yes thank you! she is doing great. She was panting heavily last night, not sure if it is due to the stitches. I try to let her nurse the pups when she is not panting. what to do, need to bottle feed them |
