| Hope for Ears! When I got Holly at 3 months, both ears were up. Within a month, the right one went down. I tried taping it after shaving it, nothing. It stayed down. I gave up for awhile. Last week at 7 months, she got spayed and had 4 baby teeth removed. I taped her right ear. 4 days later, her ear is up! I sure hope it stays up. She was cute with one up, one down, but cuter with both up. With Gracie, she had one ear up one down at 4 months, and the vet said that after 6 months it is pretty much impossible to get an ear to go up. NOT. So, there is hope for you late bloomers out there.

It's a Yorkie Thing Donating Member | My first yorkie didn't keep his ears up until almost 8 months old. He had been sick and I'm not sure if that affected his ears or not... but yes he was a late bloomer.

| One of our tinys never kept her ears up and I have to admit she's awfully cute! So, we just tell her she isn't to standard but she doesn't need to be because she's so special! |

| Hot Rod is just about 8 mos and his ears are still up and down. When he was younger I didn't mind it and said I wouldn't tape. But now that he's almost there, I have been taping. It usually last a day and then he pulls one out and I take the other out so his ears can breathe. They been standing up for a couple of hours at a time now. He was neutered and teeth out jut over a month ago. So I am hopeful that they will be up. I am also taping now since his ear hear is starting to grow back from his last grooming thinking that if they are going to stand, this will be the time.
