| My first trip away from my baby! My son and I are visiting colleges in TX and will be gone for about a week. I am really having a difficult time with the thought of leaving my little baby, "Trixie" (5 mos. old) in the very loving and capable hands of my hubbie and daughters. Trixie is very attached to me (as I am to her) and I know it's going to be difficult for us both. Other than leaving her a recently worn T shirt, does anyone have any good ideas to help her feel OK while I'm gone? OK, so it's really ME who will have the most difficulty with this. Perhaps a couple of margaritas a day for me...

| I know how you feel. I can barely leave my babies for one night. I don't know how I would be able to do a whole week. Good luck on both your trips! Take a picture of her with and leave one of you with her...like put it by her bed or something. Thats what we do. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I'm with you. I have never left mine yet, but I may have to go to AZ in June with my husband, he never gets to travel and he loves to, but I can't leave my babies. I told him I will go for 2 days and see if I can do it. I know they will probably be fine it's more us!!!
