| found yorkie my DH was out walking our dog when he found this other little yorkie walking around. he looks like he is taken care of. we walked around the neighborhood w/ him but no one said anything. we didn't ask people because we don't want someone to claim him that isn't the owners. we're not sure what we should do. do you all have any suggestions?? |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Put up Fliers. But don't put a picture of him on them. Put a (simple, general) description of him. Put the fliers around your neighborhood, in any shelters in your area, vet offices, Targets, PetCos, etc. When/If people call, ask them to describe the dog for you. Or ask for a name and see if he responds. Also, try calling the local shelters, etc., to ask if there have been any reported missing yorkies. You might take him into the vet and have a scanned for a microchip. And one other thing (that's kind of far fetched...but probably worth a shot) is if you put a leash on him and take him out for a walk, say something like "Let's go home," and see if he takes you to his home. Good luck!

| Thank you for your help!! My husband took him up to a vet to see if he had been microchipped and he hasn't. They put a flier up at the vet. They said he looks like he's really old, his teeth are messed up and he looks like he's developing cataracts. They also said he doesn't look like he's been fed very well. To me he looks like he's been taken care of because his hair and nails look like they've been cut recently. We're not sure what to feed him since his teeth are messed up...I wonder if he would be able to eat hard food. We give our dog Nutro. He definitely knows what table food is because my husband is eating and he's jumping up on his leg. He gave him some chicken. We're going to make some fliers and put them up. He seems like a really good dog. He was shaking at first but now he seems fine and he's getting along with my yorkie. I just hope the owner calls soon because i'm not sure what i'm going to do with him tomorrow when i'm at home by myself with my 7 month old and my hyper yorkie plus this little dog. We need to get him a crate but my husband didn't buy one because the cheapest at the vet was $25. We need to get something though. |

| well we found a $15 crate so we're going to keep him in there tonight. i hope he doesn't cry all night. he's such a cute little dog but he looks so fragile and you can feel his bones. he won't drink any water or eat any dog food. we gave him some chicken and scrambled eggs and he ate that. do you guys know of any reason why my dog has been slobbering since we found this other dog? the hair around his mouth is all wet and it seems to be getting worse. he's not acting weird or different in any other way. |
