| a little help please I'm trying to find a yorkie to bred with. I couldnt think of anything else so im asking for some advise. I live in las vegas. I have a male and hes almost a year old. I had a friend that we were going to breed with but she found out that the pet store she got him from lied and she wasnt pure. so now im going crazy trying to figure out how to find a female. Thanks from me and bloo |

| I agree with the above..... after having gone the route of studding out our toy poodle many years ago, I would never do it again. Please read old threads about using your male "pet" as a stud. I don't think it's worth it unless you are a very experienced breeder. Good luck.

| I thought that in another post you mentioned that you bought him from a pet store, do you really think you should breed him? There could be problems since he was probably from a puppymill and you don't know what can come out in the recessive genes. I would just look for a playmate for him from a rescue or reputable breeder (no more pet store pups!) and have your little one neutered!
