| Coat Type Question Does anybody know if the type of hair on the head is indicative of the overall coat type? Franklin's body coat is coarse and wiry, I assume because he's still a puppy - but the hair that has already changed colors on his head is silky. Do you think he'll be silky? When do you really know what type of coat they have?

| Same here!!!! Hey I thought I was the only one with a puppy whose hair seemed messed up. My baby's name is Reese. He is too cute and too BAD!!!! but his hair is not laying down but I assume its because he is still a puppy. |

| If you know what kind of coat the parents have then you can probably guess what kind he will have! Although some of the coat issues have to do with what you feed them and what kind of shampoo and conditioners you use! It's fun to see how the coat changes color and texture over time. My yorkies have changed color and texture over all their years not just the puppy years!!
