| I personally wouldnt reccomend putting a flea collar on your dog. For one it isnt safe and instead of putting a flea collar on your dog you should put it on flea preventative. JMO |

| I don't use the collars. They don't seem to work very long and the ones I seen stink. I still have 2 in a package I haven't opened. Hmmm, LOL, I should probably throw them away. They are at least a year old and probably wouldn't work at all if I tried to use them. LOL Sylvia |

| flea collers are bad buissness if they are chewed on (and it says children shouldnt handle then collars either????...... hmmmmm....... not something i would want on my yorkie) AND hartz products are notorious for being "dangerous", there have been SEVERAL problems with the flea medications specifically from hartz |

| I agree with the rest of the posts I never have put a flea collar on Alley. I had a bad experience with one on a cat once. Okay it's a cat, but she was my pet! She didn't like it on, so one day, I come home from work and she has sat and rotated around her neck so much that the buckle cut her mouth on both sides. I use Frontline, but will be asking my vet about other options since reading the other posts from today!

| Flea collars are dangerously poisonous for puppies.

| I know this sounds a little over the top, but I wont let my dogs play with other dogs that have flea collars on. Im afraid of them biting it or licking it and ingesting the pesticides. |

| collars Kelly, I thought I was the only one who did that...I will not allow mine near a flea collar on any pet. They are so toxic. |

| No way Flea ciollars are toxic, would not let one anywhere near my boys. Topical flea protection is the best, I use Revolution which takes care of fleas, mites, mange, ticks(I live in SoCal and have never seen one of those in my life) and heartworm. And I would NEVER use a Hartz product of any type on my dogs. Do an internet search on Hartz products and you will see why. They kill animals. |
