| My groomer is so nice! I took my babies for their bath today and when I picked them up, there was 2 throws on the crate. A quilted one and a crocheted one. I commented on how pretty they were and she said they're for you. Take them for your babies. I looked puzzled I guess, and she said another of her clients had to put her baby down and they were her blankies. She wanted someone who loved their babies to have them and the groomer thought of me. I didn't have time to get the story on the poor baby, but I was touched that she thought of me. Now, the last thing my babies need is another blankie, but I couldn't (wouldn't) refuse that. But I can't help but feel sad when I look at them.

| That's sweet. Atleast they are going to someone who loves their babies as much as the other babies were loved. Cherish them.

| If you're sad.... What a sweet gesture. Some people would have just thrown them away, but your groomer took the time to give them to someone she knew really loved their babies. If it makes you sad to look at them though, you could donate them to an animal rescue/shelter. That way they would go to animals in need and you would know that the blankies were somewhere they were really needed which also be a tribute to the lady's beloved pet. Just a thought..... |
