| Risks? Going Under? Hello Everyone! Our little Gizmo is going to the vet on Tuesday for a retained puppy tooth to have pulled out. He's almost a year and half so we know it's not planning on falling out. What are the real risks involved with him going under for this? I am SOOO worried! LOL My husband thinks I am crazy and I've called and talked to the vet at least 3 times about it. They state that they hardly ever have a dog have a problem going under, but it really depends on the dogs and things can happen. That they watch over them very well and make sure all precautions are used. What do you guys thinK??!!

| tooth Your vet hates people like me...but I would not have one top tooth pulled at this age unless there is an infection or serious problem...I would wait until time for a cleaning, which might be in another 6 months anyway. If it is a top canine I would wait..a bottom canine can be a problem and I would do it. ..and I would have the others cleaned/polished while he was out... |
