My Little Man! Donating Member | So Frustrated! Today is a great sunny day so me and my boyfriend took Maxi for a walk. We have nice open area by the church near our development and its all grass. We were enjoying our laps when all of a sudden I see this lady walking with four dogs with no leash! two cocker spaniels and two others couldnt make what kind of breed it was. I see one spaniel running towards us and she of course couldnt call the dog back so I picked up my baby. My boyfriend went over to her and said you have to put a leash on your dogs. She tried to ignore him! So he raised his voice on her and repeated himself and she said I know I know and put a leash only on one dog! He asked her if she lives here and she said yes. I really doubt that thou because I have never seen her around. Then one spaniel started running another way and she hit the dog with the leash! At this point even if I said to her dont hit your dog she would just ignore me because she seems like a complete retard! I wanted to hit her with a leash! I was so mad! Our walk was ruined and I rushed home to call our security of our community to complain about hitting the dog and no leash. I left him detailed message so I hope he is over there now. What an ignorance! There are kids playing there too!

| How frustrating!!! I'm sorry your walk was ruined. It seems like evereybody is having experiences with dogs being off their leash and the owners don't even care!

| I have a HUGE pet pev about people letting their dogs run free so I have to pick my babies up even though they are leashed just so mine are safe! Most people brush this off like...Oh no worries my dog is friendly! Mean while I am struggling with two wiggle worms trying to get down!!!! Down even get me started on the whole deal with Sadie being a puppy and every few steps she hits the deck (Duckes and refuses to walk) And when I finally get her going for a stretch we need to deal with the huge unleashed dog so my babies both get picked up! GRRRRR!

My Little Man! Donating Member | Oh I know guys, I am still so pissed and it was a few hours ago when we went for a walk. It just seemed like it was all the things that can aggravate you all at once. No leash, hitting the dog I still feel like crying, and ignorance! I think I jinxed myself because not that long ago I was saying its not that bad where I live. Oh yeah I love it when people say oh my dog is friendly but meanwhile you see that their dog is not happy to see yours. When I see big dogs I pick my baby up right away. When I see little doggies I usually look at them if they are really happy and friendly then I let my baby go and say hello. I hope our security already went there but I will find the animal control phone number just in case. For that lady's sake I hope she wont come back there again with dogs without their leashes. Our development has strick rules , if you dont pick up after your dog and your dog is off the leash you pay $200 fine per incident.

| Sorry you had to go through this. A perfect example of why we have a leash law. Things can happen so fast and preventing it is the right way. Everyone says that "he/she doesn't bite" and I just laugh and say "well, if he/she has teeth they do"!

My Little Man! Donating Member | That's a good one! I will be saying that next time someone tells me their dog is friendly when you can see that he/she is not.
