| What a scare (but thank you to YT) So last night my husband and I were sitting on the couch watching T.V. and Lily was on the floor chewing on her everlast toy. When all the sudden I hear this coughing so I jump up and run to Lily she is not breathing and starting to panic. I open her mouth to see if I can see what the problem is and I see something but I do not want to do any damage by trying to get it out against my better judgment I put my finger down her throat and cannot get the object out but pushed it to the side slightly, she is breathing but not well. My husband is standing there is shock and says what do I do and I yell at him get the keys. He grabs Lily and runs for the car I run for my purse, keeping in mind the closest vet open at 8:00pm is 45 min a way. I get in the car and she starts choking again and all I want to say is I thank god and YT because lily is living proof that the dog Heimlich Maneuver works, it did not force the what I now can see is a piece of everlast treat all the way out but it pushed it out enough that I could reach it with my finger. So I just wanted to say thank you to Yt for saving my dogs life.

| Thank God Lily is OK! Good job, Mom & Dad! I quit letting Toto have one of those last year when our friend was holding her and noticed that her face was a bloody mess! She had rubbed all the hair and skin off her little chin!! Scared me spitless!
