| Maverick is a big boy! So I knew Maverick was putting on weight but I just didn't know how much. When I got him two months ago he was a little over 4 lbs. Now he is 7lbs 9oz!!! How crazy is that!!! He is so stinkin' cute. Everyone that I see can't believe how big he is. They always have some sort of comment like "I didn't think Yorkies got that big" And by no means is he HUGE or anything. I think he is perfect. So what would you guys consider big?? I don't think Maverick is really big but everyone else seems to think he is. Do you think that's because there are a lot of Yorkies out there that are way smaller? Anyways I will have to post some recent pictures here soon. He is definitely growing up! |

| yorkie standard is 4-7 pounds, so he doesn't sound that big. There are quite a few bigger than Maverick on here. I would say you just have more to love. Don't worry about what others think

| Yes, it's because so many people think yorkies are supposed to be 2 or 3pounds. I had one that was 11 pounds. You get used to the comments about how big they are and I found it made him even more special. He had long legs so he was my supermodel. The biggest on YT is over 20 pounds.

| I rather see a large yorkie, that means they are well loved. |

| its not the size that counts, its the amount of love you have to share w/eachother! The bigger the yorkie, the bigger the hugs and kisses you get!
