| New Yorkie Mom Hi everyone--I have a darling new yorkie boy. He is almost 4 years old--found him in the middle of the hwy and his owners didn't want him back. Not to worry as he has a wonderful home with his new mommy, daddy, and 3 doggy sisters! Any help with feeding would be sooo appreciated--what and how much--he weighs maybe 7 or 8 pounds. |

| Great job giving this little guy a new home. He obviously wasn't "cherished" in his other home. have you tried free feeding until you can tell what he needs? We use Royal Canin Yorkie kibble, and I add a little Canidae dry food too. Good luck, keep posting...let us know how things are going.

| Congratulations to you and him! Wow, you've found a real treasure We've always free fed our dogs. I'm not sure how much a 4 year old should eat each day. If you look on the bad of dog food, it should say. All the best to you and your new baby. BTW, what's his name? Be sure to post pictures of him when you get a chance

| It is so refreshing to read that loving people like you find deserving babies like him, to give him a second chance at a happy, pampered life!! I agree with the others.....free feeding for now. As much as he needs. Hopefully he will eat around his new sisters and brothers!! Im really happy people like you are out there! Best of luck with your new addition!

| Why can someone leave a cute yorkie on a highway? Cruel people. It's nice that you found this yorkie before he was hit by something. Goodluck to your new found yorkie |
