| i have a wow why would you say that story So we have been going to our local dog park once a week and we kinda know a few ppl there well today a lady who said her dog was wait get this a chi / pitbull mix and it gets better says the mom was the chi and she had a litter of 4 yay i know anyway she says to me "whats your dog mixed with" well it caught me off gaurd and i asked her again and i said well he is a pruebred she then "oh ok" then walked way well a couple mins later SAID "well he is SO Big are you sure he is fullblooded" i closed my eyes and thought ...A: so this is what they are talking about on YT" and then B:thought be nice Julie SO i Said well he is a big boy but i love him then walked away lol then i vented to myself and dh when i got home some pple |

| I would have said- are your sure that is a chi/pit mix?? You are right some people! Banjo is a big boy, too! but he is just right TO love!!!! that's what you need to say next time!! your baby is JUST RIGHT to LOVE!!!!

| Ya i didnt really bother me the comment that she made it was that she said it you know what i mean like they way she said it almost as if i was dumb !! but like i said i was actually proud of my return answer to her not going off basically i used what i read here as a experince when i replied..... lol im trying to work on not saying what comes to mind at first and saying something nice instead in sittuations like this.... i consider myslef to be a very nice person i just sometimes am a wee bit blunt and dont realize what i am saying could be taken rudely but like i said working on that |

| I had Otis at a soccer game and a high school friend said the same thing to me. She actually said...I've bred yorkies and THAT's NOT a yorkie! I said, yep, papers and everything. Just a little bigger and blacker and floppy eared! I think it's up to us "teapot mommies" to educate people that yorkies are like children and come in all shapes and sizes!

| Don't feel to badly, my babies are 5 and 4 pounds and every one asks me what kind of dog they are. i guess unless you know yorkies you don't know!

| thats what I get!!! Roxi is only 2.8 and they always ask "is that a rat or a dog"? I just say, "yup its a rat"!! It's SO irritating, to me it would be like me saying, "is that a kid" to someone's child!! I think it happens with all sizes!!
