| Patterns For all my sewing friends I found a pattern in McCall's to make some cute dog clothes. It is McCall's number 4686. It looks really easy to make and it comes in all different sizes. I saw some cute ones for doll clothes too, but I'm waiting till the end of the month when they go on sale for $1.99. Good luck. |

| It is so hard to find patterns for dresses and shirts! I think I will have to buy some and take them apart to get the patterns. Couldn't someone make a mint by designing patterns for dogs?

| I'm going to take the dresses I have, and try to make a pattern too. Great minds must think alike. |

| Oh that's great! I've been wondering if they made patterns for pups. Now I just have to convince my mom to make them for me because I don't have a sewing machine, plus I just plain suck at it! Hehe!

| Free Resizable Dog Clothing Pattern Here is a great site I found for a free printable dog shirt/coat. There are different sizes so you can't go wrong. I am a beginner sewer (at best) and I did pretty well with this pattern. If you have a sewing machine, you can make one in no time. I also made a few little ones for my puppies and sewed it by hand, so that will work as well. You can also send pictures of your Yorkie wearing your creation to the site owner and they will post them (though I haven't seen mine posted yet, I guess it may take awhile). So have fun and get creative! Sewing @ Circle Of Crafters |

| Good luck! Let me know if you have any trouble. If you do end up making some I would love to see some pic's of the finished product. I'd like to make some more and add my own little touches to srpuse the pattern up a bit. This project is also great for recycling. You can go through your closet and find old shirts with cute patterns on them and cut the pattern from them. Shirts with pockets are also great to use. It adds a little something, and the pockets is already sewn on, so one less step you have to wory about! The shirt I made (attached above) was from two old shirts. The purple is one that I used for the inside of the pattern, and the stripped was another shirt that already had the pocket on it. If you feel like going all out, you can use the extra fabric to make a cute bow to match. |
