| hello every yorkie in the world, please help My poor peanuts, is so sick with what my vet says is considered seizures.I do not know what to do as he has been through so much,in such a short time.HE was only 1lb 3ounces when we took him home .He was in a popular pet shop and was in a disaster of a mess and we knew we had to save him.He was in a pen with dogs three times his size.A huge dog had peanuts head in his mouth and was bitting on it like it was a walnut, there were other dogs bitting on him peaing on him his head was full of saliva and he could not get past them to have a pebble of food.My wife and I could not leave him there so after many arguments with the owner we took him home.We took him to in a second the vet said your the proud parents of a baby that does not look as if he was going to make it.If we returned him to the pet store thet would send him back to a puppy mill and kill him. Then they would give us a new one.We kept him and ever since then he has been to vets repeatedlee. he has had three or four operations on his neck and mouth. He loves life and is always in so much pain.We do not know if the distortment comes from seizures. When we come home he gets so happy he runs around the house for a few minutes then he gets locked into his own body and screams and carries on if I catch him on time I can help him stop get through the moment. There is only one vet that is giving him any help and now wants to put him on anti seizure medicne. What should we do.The vet does not know if this will work and wants to do more blood testingHe has been theough enough. We feel every time we bring him to a vet he is in trauma for days. What would you do .Is there a professional out there that can help please |

| I am so sorry for you and your puppy. Are you going to a regular Vet or a neurologist? |

| I'm sorry that you and your baby are going thru this. Maybe a holistic vet can help? Acupunction might be an alternative. I am not an expert but if conventional medicines do not work, maybe this will help. good luck.

| I have no answer for you, I only want you to know you are in my prayers. I can't imagine the pain you all are going through. I would talk to the news stations in your area. Maybe by making this terrible place open to public eyes, you can help other poor puppies living in those horrible conditions. I honestly believe the only way we will ever stop puppy mills, and the heartless stores that buy from them is to make people aware. I bet there are people out there that don't know the difference between breeders and puppy mills. Not knowing, not seeing, not understanding, is just as damaging as not caring. Thank God you took that little guy out of that Hell Hole. He doesn't deserve to suffer like this, and neither do you

| I would try the anti-seizure medicine. My daughter's small dog takes medicine for seizures (has been on it for 7 years) and she lives a normal, happy life. |

| How sad. If the biting of the other dogs caused a neurological problem leading to seizures then I guess your would have to go with the anti-seizure med. If this pup hasn't had a bile acid test for liver shunt, I would do that first. That cold be the cause of the seizures and treatment would be different.
