| Distemper vaccine Hi ...yesterday Kiki had her yearly exam at the vet's office and she had one shot (distemper), blood work done for heartworm, etc. The vet doesn't give the entire vaccine because she is only 6 pounds but today she just doesn't seem like herself. She didn't want to eat her food this morning (but sometimes she is fussy) and she is lying around not like herself. She finally ate a little bit of wet food and a couple pieces of her kibble. No diarhea and no vomiting. It seems that when I pick her up, she is squirming so I thought maybe the injection site was sore. I called the vet and they said some dogs react differently and if she didn't perk up to call back. I hate to bring her in again since she stresses so much going there. Does anyone know if this shot would cause pain? Anna www.dogster.com/dogs/511397 |

| That can be normal. It is very common with the lepto. Was that included?

I just called the vet and they said they would feel better if I brought her in to get checked again. So we are going in an hour. I am sure it isn't anything serious but I worry too much. | |
