| Just last month Toby found a little nest of two mice babies and brought one in the house. He usually brings in rocks (we have a whole collection of his little rocks in a dish) but this time I heard squeaking sounds coming from under the dining room table. Before I could get to see what was squeaking, Toby ate it. While I was contemplating this, he went outside and found the other "baby" which I happened to see as he ate that one too. I just couldn't believe he did that and looked pretty smug about it too. Now every time he goes outside he always checks the place where the "babies" were. I had heard Yorkies were originally bred as "mousers" but I didn't need to see it in action.

| Oh yikes! I can just picture the look on your face! I hope that Maddie and Libby never catch anything like that. They are always trying, but so far, so good!

Please be very careful with mice. If the dogs catch one, there's always the possibility that it was sick and had been poisoned, which is very dangerous if the dogs eat it. | |

| When Sami was young in the summer we'd be out on the patio and we have landscape lighting. There would be little baby toads under the lights trying to catch bugs, well on more than one occasion she'd catch one. ICK! Foamy mouth so in the house to wash out her mouth. LOL! I can relate. |

| When mine were allowed in the yard my little 4 pounder was quite the hunter. She killed baby rabbits and got a squirrel once but he got the better of her and she came back with her face all torn up and blood everywhere. Mine don't go into the yard anymoe and Feather doesn't go outside at all now except for walk and trips in the car |

| LOL how funny! At my mom's house, the cats and the dogs work together. The cat will bring in the most ungodly wretches through the dog door, let it loose ... ALIVE and let the dogs chase it. EWW! LOL One time, we found a rat in our kitchen (double ew!) and it scared the CRAP out of me. Thinking that Yorkies love rats, I put my girl, Glory on the counter for her to catch it but she was scared of it too! LOL -- I finally screamed for my dad and he came and caught it! Dear ol' dad! Saved my life yet another time LOL
